A Conference Can Have Parity And Still Suck

big10sucksCory McCartney at SI.com is trying to turn turds into diamonds. His argument is that the Big-10 isn’t week, it just has parity.

Sorry Cory. Lets call a piece of shit a piece of shit. The Big-10 is way down this year. Parity with a bunch of unspectacular, entirely average teams isn’t something to be praised, and anybody who really watches college football is not going to fall for your spin. The ACC had the most parity last year and look where they are now.

Can anybody really make an argument right now as to why the Big-10 should be ranked within the top 4 BCS conferences this season? I sure can’t.

Terrelle Pryor’s high school coach Ray Reitz wants to tell Jim Tressel how to do his job. Instead of entertaining the idea that perhaps, maybe, Pryor actually isn’t that great of a quarterback, he basically blames the entire Ohio State offensive scheme, which more or less has been working pretty good for the past couple decades (except in games that matter!).

“They need Terrelle to run more,” former Jeannette (Pa.) High School coach Ray Reitz said. “They’ve put the reins on him and they need to let him go free. When I watch Terrelle play right now, I see a robot.”
