About TheCouchQB.com

TheCouchQB is not a news site for college football. It probably isn't even completely unbiased. And that's a good thing.

TheCouchQB is where your college sports bar meets sports-writers. It's a place where college football fans can be both fans and journalists and create, discuss and debate over college football. If you've ever wanted to be a college football pundit, this is the place to do it.

Every story published on this site comes complete with the writer's own views, convictions and opinions. That's not a bad thing, so long as the writer is able to back it up.

Each submission is reviewed and edited by TheCouchQB before being published. We edit for things such as typos, spelling, consistency, etc., but never for content.

Every submission is also open to discussion and debate. No opinion gets a free pass, which leads to some very lively and great discussions. The only requirement is that the writer is able to walk the walk along with talking the talk.

The result is hopefully a lively, informative and entertaining college football environment with a spirit of camaraderie, where true and knowledgeable fans come together to discuss and debate the greatest sport in the world.

About the Creator

This site was created in August 2008 by yours truly. I post as CouchQB on the site. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004 where my loyalty for the Golden Bears was forever galvanized. Tedford is God.

I currently live in Los Angeles, CA, and after having lived here for the past few years, I'm absolutely convinced that if you cheer against UCLA, USC or the Lakers, you will be arrested. However, nothing pleases me more than seeing the Trojans lose (except perhaps witnessing the self-destruction of the Stanford Cardinals).

Go Bears!

TheCouchQB - Oftentimes vulgar, maybe funny, sometimes tasteless, usually sarcastic, shamelessly biased and only possibly newsworthy...but ALWAYS college football!
